Weekend Recap

Yesterday, we went to a birthday party of our cousins in Spanaway, Washington. It was a long and tiring day. We left the house at around 3:30 in the afternoon and arrived there at around 5:30 in the afternoon. It was 90 miles away from our place but we had to stop by at the store to get a few stuff (gifts and coffee) for the birthday celebrants. The party went well. Too much food! LOL. We decided to leave early as we send our friend to her house. She live like 90 miles away from us. So it was a long stinkin' drive! We arrived home past midnight. We're so tired today so we decided to stay home.

Bedroom Wardrobes | Bedroom Wardrobe Cabinets

My friend came over last week and she brought a magazine from IKEA. She showed me this beautiful bedroom wardrobes that she's been dying to get ever since they got married. Well, she's been planning to buy bedroom wardrobe for years now but her husband keep her from getting what she really want. I'm not really sure why he doesn't allow her to do it. It's not like they can't use it or something. I'm sure it won't go to waste if ever they decided to buy one someday. Oh well, I just hope she will be able to convince her husband regarding this matter. On the other hand, I have a hard time deciding whether I should get a bedroom wardrobe cabinets or a corner computer desk instead. Some of my friends suggested it but I'm not really sure whether I should get it or not. We'll see what happens.

Silver Bell

Last week my cousin just finished their wedding rites. Finally they are done, and guess that the couple bought a two tone wedding ring it’s a combination of silver and gold. But mostly in the middle it’s all silver and it’s just surrounded by gold. They had hard time finding for the best one, since they are in a hurry too, the couple decided for that nice and simple wedding ring. Actually my cousin wants all silver but her husband wants to have gold too. So better gets two tone to be equal. So now it’s very well-known to have silver of your own choice. And check very carefully before buying.

Curious As A Cat

* Hmmm, maybe if they will tell me they're pregnant! LOL. I know it's shocking because they're both in their 60's. Just kidding.

* A silver necklace. It was given to me by my one and only love when I was 26 years old.

3) What one affordable gift, besides money, would you like to receive from everyone you know on your next birthday?

* Any gift, as long as it is given from the heart. It doesn't have to be an expensive one. Some gifts are given with a lot of thoughtfulness. As the saying goes, "It's the thought that counts".

Busy Week

Boy, it has been a busy week for me. Dear hubby was gone for a week. We went to Reno, NV to attend his father's funeral. He just came home yesterday from a 6 day trip. It was really hard, especially if you have two super active kids at home. They took my energy! LOL.

Handmade Designer Jewelry

As I mentioned in my other blog entry, my mother celebrated her 67th birthday last April 2. But I can't still decide whether I should get her a Designer Jewelry or a perfume. I wanted to give her something unique on her birthday. I saw these beautiful handmade and hand crafted designer fashion jewelry including necklaces, earrings and bracelets online from Holsted Jewelers and I thought it will be a perfect gift for her birthday. She doesn't have any designer jewelry so I'm sure she'll be happy to have it. Well, let's see what happens. I might change my mind in the last minute...

Quick Update

Some of you probably wondering where have I been. Well, dear hubby and I went to Reno, Nevada to visit his father. He had a heart attack on Sunday March 29, 2009. He's still in the hospital and had a coma since the heart attack.

On the other hand, my friend called me up this morning and she's happy. She mentioned her husband finally gave her a go signal. She's been wanting to pursue her career in cosmetology. Speaking of cosmetology, she said she's going to check out michigan cosmetology schools. She heard a lot of good things about it from her friends and co-workers. I'm so happy for her. I wish her all the best!
